Founder of African Institution of Technology

Dr. Ndubuisi Ekekwe is the Founder of African Institution of Technology, a 501(c)3 U.S. charity. He holds two doctoral and four master’s degrees including a Ph.D. in electrical & computer engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, USA, and MBA from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He obtained BEng from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (Nigeria) where he graduated as his class’s best student.

A US semiconductor industry veteran, his working experiences include Diamond Bank, Analog Devices Corp, and NNPC. In Analog Devices, he worked in the team that designed a generation accelerometer for the iPhone, and he created the company’s first wafer level chip scale package for the inertial sensors. Dr. Ekekwe is a selection board member of the $100 Million Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program. He has written many books, authored many technical papers, and invented technologies. The African Leadership Network has honored him as a “New Generation Leader for Africa”.

She eventually ventured into the Education Industry bringing in her vast experience in the world of Marketing Communications to support Educational Institutions. She serves on various Boards and NGOs across the Country.

Angela is a Goldman Sachs Scholar and an Alumni of Enterprise Development Centre, Pan- Atlantic University Lagos.
She currently serves as an Advisory Member of the Board of the Enterprise Development Centre.
Angela belongs to a number of Organisations and International NGOs.

She is the immediate Past President of Business and Professional Women (BPW) an International NGO that develops the professional, business and leadership potential of women on all levels through advocacy, mentoring, networking, skill-building, and economic empowerment programs around the World.
She currently sits on the Board of Business and Professional Women.

She was instrumental to the setting of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) and among the four-member committee that drew up a constitution to guide the then-new Association in 2004. Today she sits on the Board of the FCT Chapter of the Association and is a mentor to many Schools.

Angela is a Qualified Quality Assessors Manager and is the Council Chair of ​Skills Care Development Organisation, a Sector Skills Council for Education and care responsible for guiding the system for the development, classification and recognition of skills, knowledge, understanding and competencies acquired by individuals in the Education and Care Industry. To also promote quality care in Education and Health Organisations through the National Skills Qualification Framework.
She is a Certified Education Coach and an Internal Verifier under the NSQF.
Angela was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She is married with two children and two grandchildren. She loves reading.

She and her colleagues created an organization for teacher training services and learner mentorship programmes. Within one year of existence, they have succeeded in training more than one hundred teachers in their school district on better and more improved teaching expertise.
