Adeola is an experienced educator with a passion for learning and teaching in all its ramifications- formal and informal, within and outside the classroom, throughout life. She has an intuitively creative approach to teaching and coaching children of all abilities, as well as teachers, mentors and parents, and has registered many successes with children with learning challenges. With a B.Sc Education, an M.Sc, QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) from the UK, Registered Teacher Status from Nigeria, and Certified Professional Transformational Coach ( Advanced Practitioner ) status, and over 30 years of experience, she has worked in all levels of pre-tertiary education and is now a successful teacher trainer and school leader. She is described by many as an adaptive, talented and nurturing leader who is committed to making a difference in the lives of others and helping them achieve their potential. She is open-minded, patient and supportive towards others, especially young people or those who suffer from disabilities. She has an excellent ability to remain good-humoured and unflappable under pressure.
Adeola has taught across the globe, with teaching positions in international schools in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the Kingdom of Bahrain and Nigeria. Her successes within the varying cultural contexts prove her versatility and expertise as a professional in education.
Currently heading Temple Schools as the Principal, Adeola leads a team of over 200 academic and non-academic staff. Her inspirational leadership is instrumental in moving her team to commit to a culture of continuous improvement and to delivering top-quality provisions for the holistic education of all children in Temple School. Adeola is also the current Executive Chair of the Association of International School Educators of Nigeria (AISEN), an organisation with over 100 member schools, that is committed to providing high-quality collaboration, training, advocacy, standards and validation for stakeholders.
