Dare Adebayo

Dare is a seasoned entrepreneur who has achieved significant success in his career. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and a Master’s degree in Technology Management, and is set to complete his MBA in November 2023 from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, USA. At the young age of 18, Dare founded his first startup, Duslarcreations, with no capital. In 2010, he co-founded ITvessel, a software development company that worked with Enterprise Clients, Governments, and Schools. In 2016, he also co-founded Edves, an innovative Edtech company that digitizes learning and admin tasks in schools. Edves has grown to over 500k users in 10 countries and has received numerous global and local awards and recognition, including the Best Prize at the 2018 Seedstar Global Edtech award in emerging markets. Edves has been accepted into various global business accelerators such as the 2016 CChub-Intel Growth Academy in Lagos. After winning the 2018 Seedstars Global Edtech Prize in Switzerland, Dare became a Fellow of Jacobs Foundation in Switzerland and a Seedstars alumnus. In 2019, he became a MindCET Go alumnus in Tel Aviv Israel. Also, Edves received a national award, as the best Nigerian Edtech startup in 2022 by Eko Innovation Centre.

Over the past 5 years, Dare has journeyed to more than 10 countries spanning four continents, including Africa, America, Asia, and Europe, to participate in various conferences and business accelerator programs as a speaker and attendee.

Dare is a dynamic operational executive with proven experience, yet passionate about integrating technology to solve human problems in various industries, with a particular interest in education. His track record of exceeding ventures’ profitable goals, building the salesforce of a startup to cross $1m in revenue, leveraging his ability to negotiate to fuse finance resilience into budgeting and leading successful initiatives in Sales, Marketing, Customer Relations, Project, and Product Management. He is also a great motivator, a people person, a heroic mentor and a source of inspiration to peers and junior team members. His excellent interpersonal skills enable him to build long-lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, investors, partners, and vendors in the African and global Edtech ecosystem.

Dare is committed to grooming other entrepreneurs, as a result, he volunteers on various platforms as a facilitator, teaching and sharing his experience on how to start and sustain a startup and structure a business salesforce for growth and attainment of stakeholders’ short and long-term objectives.

Apart from his noteworthy career accomplishments, Dare also prioritizes his family life. He is happily married and takes great pride in being a loving husband and father to his two beautiful sons.
