Executive Director of Ladela Schools
Angela Ajala has been in the Education and training industry for over 30 years and has served as the Executive Director of Ladela Schools since 1997. Through Ladela School, she established a tradition of annual corporate social responsibility among the children to reach out to their community. During the lockdown, Ladela was the only school that donated food and money to the vulnerable and orphans through a school project.
She earned a BA and MA from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has completed courses in different specialisations ranging from Business innovation and strategy to Leadership, Counseling, etc. A Goldman Sachs Scholar and alumni of Enterprise Development Center, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. She is the past president of Business and Professional Women, an International NGO mentoring and developing women’s leadership and business potentials.
She is the immediate past president of the African Women Entrepreneurship Programme. This association positions women for export across global platforms and empowers them to be voices of change in their communities. She pioneered a mentoring hub and business clinic for women’s businesses and introduced the one pad one girl campaign to support menstrual hygiene for young rural girls.
As a seasoned educationist, she was part of the team that set up the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools and is a mentor to many schools.
Angela Ajala is currently the National Coordinator of the Association of Nigeria Women Business Network, ANWBN, a premier coalition of over 65 professional and business women membership organisations dedicated to promoting policy reforms that ensure sustainable economic development. She is also the Chairperson of Ultimate Health Management Organisation, the leading HMO in Nigeria, a qualified Quality Assurance Manager and the Sector Skill Council for Education council chairperson., and an appointed member of the Presidential High-Level Advisory Council on Support to Women and Girls.

Angela Ajala is a bestselling author, a coach, a mentor, an educational administrator per excellence and a collaborator in numerous development projects. She is a change agent and a committed advocate for improving lives and situations. She is a mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 and enjoys reading, cooking and dancing.
