Ify Obidi-Essien

Ify Obidi-Essien is an Edu-Tech Consultant and a Microsoft Global Training Partner, passionate about driving
digital transformation in education through technology solutions for educators. Her passion to raise Tech-
Savvy Teachers can be seen in the activities she engages in her Facebook community of over 6,000
educators and Microsoft certification programmes she organises nationwide.​

She is the CEO of Tech-Savvy Teacher International, an EdTech Consultancy firm that offers Technology
services in the form of training and Consultation, school management software integration and installation of
Classroom technologies provide an educational transformational framework upon which the goals
of educational stakeholders are met. The 12th edition of the Tech-Savvy Teacher Masterclass which was held at
the United Arab Emirates, Dubai in February 2020, served as an eyeopener to the Nigerian Educational
system for the need to integrate the Flipped Classroom Model which is needed to meet the needs of the 21st
century child.​

Her book, ARISE serves as a springboard for Educators globally to become the upgraded version of
themselves. She has been featured in the SUN publication, Wazobia TV, Wazobia FM, TVC, Kids and Mum TV
show, Inspirational FM and other platforms too numerous to mention.​
​
Her passion to help children’s creativity find expression in the world of technology can be seen in the
school virtual program, Animation Kids Club, which she runs in Corona Schools Lagos, Greenspring School
Gbagada, Lagos, Learning Ladder Abuja, and a host of others. Grade school children are equipped with
animation skills via an e-learning platform. At Animation Kids Club, we raise digital content creators from
the cradle who will creatively explore their unique abilities in the world of animation. ​

She runs a Foundation for young women between the ages of 16-24 years called the B.I.G Girls Foundation.
B.I.G is an acronym for Beautiful, Intelligent and Godly Girls. This platform helps to equip and prepare
young women with the skills and knowledge they need to live successfully in today’s world.​
​
She is happily married to Ayo Essien, a Digital Marketing Expert and together they have a lovely daughter,
Charis.
