Dr. (Mrs) Kehinde Nwani is a social entrepreneur who has a passion for national transformation and believes that education can be used as a viable tool for societal development. She began her career as a lawyer obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) over 37 years ago and was called to the Nigerian bar thereafter. She practised law for about 14 years before deciding to follow her lifelong passion of becoming an educationist. Today, she holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Nottingham and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Leicester, both in the United Kingdom. Her expertise is in the area of Leadership and Educational Effectiveness with an emphasis on Teacher Quality and School Transformation. Dr Kehinde Nwani is also the CEO, Lagos Preparatory and Secondary School (LPSS)
Out of her desire for uniform opportunities for the Nigerian child, she established Meadow Hall Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees with E.R.I.T – Education Reform and Innovation Team. These ‘not for profit’ organisations focus on transformative initiatives in public and low-cost private schools.
A certified John Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker, she is also a member of the Forbes Business Council. Dr Kehinde Nwani is the founder of “A Beautiful life by Kenny”; a non-profit Initiative birthed from a desire to help women reach their full potential as they lead their everyday lives.
She is happily married to Mr Andy Nwani, her husband of over 30 years and they are blessed with three wonderful children.
