‘Dimeji Falana, BSc. Computer Science and MBA Business Administration, the University of Chester – A tech entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in Software and digital innovation development for Banks, Universities, and governments. He was a trainer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology AITI Summer program. He has mentored and led various generations of Software developers on over 20 Software projects successfully. Also, he has globally recognized knowledge of venture building, strategic management, international business expansion, startup fundraising and connected knowledge of the Software product engineering journey to a market to give and capture values for the stakeholders. Recently, he was endorsed by the United Kingdom government as a Global Talent in the Leadership category.
He has travelled to over 20 countries including North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe speaking and attending conferences, exhibitions, boot camps, and workshops on education technology and startup business growth programs. He was a member of a para-military organization where he led as a parade commandant for 7years and received awards and medals.
He is the CEO/Co-founder of Edves, the leading Edtech in the emerging market. Teachers, Parents, Students and School leaders from over 1500 Schools use the Software to automate operations from Student enrolment to graduation. Edves won the Best Prize for Transforming Education at the Seedstars World Summit 2018 in Switzerland.
Dimeji is a 2016 CChub-Intel Growth Academy alumnus in Lagos, a 2018 Fellow of Jacobs Foundation in Switzerland, a 2018 Seedstars alumnus, a 2019 Fellow of Westerwelle Foundation Berlin Germany, a 2019 MindCET Go alumnus in Tel Aviv Israel, a 2020 delegate of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung to German Bundestag in Berlin and a 2021 delegate of Africa-France Summit in Paris France. In 2022, he was invited by ASU-GSV to speak at the global Edtech event in San Diego. He was a mentor at the 2019 Facebook Accelerator Programme Lagos and a volunteer faculty member of Tekedia Mini MBA and Global Vision Initiative in the United Kingdom.
Having 68 staff in 10 countries, he is a unique leader who has mastered how to influence his team for success. He has demonstrated track records of accomplishment, growing a startup from zero to over $1m in revenue, serving over 500,000 users in 10 countries. Dimeji has the willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet organizational goals.
