I had my first degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos. I have earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, CAIE Teacher’s Professional Certification, and Accreditation in Physics, Design & Tech, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology. I am also an Examiner (Assessment Specialist) with Cambridge Assessment (CAIE) and a Certified Teacher by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and Microsoft (MCE, MIE).

I am a visionary leader with a collaborative management style. Education has been my lifelong passion. Nothing is more rewarding to me than creating inclusive and accessible learning environments, where all children feel valued. With 17 years of administrative and extensive hands-on teaching experience. I am generally extroverted preferring group activities and gets energised by social interaction. I am very pragmatic and down-to-earth. My judgment is usually decisive, thorough, and highly organised. I prefer structure and planning to spontaneity. My motivation in life is my innate desire to impact people and to see people succeed through intentional mentoring.

I am empathetic but firm. I lead by example and I always set high expectations for the people that I lead. My perceived edge as an educational leader is reflected through my collaborative nature and curiosity as an excellent networker; understanding of the impact of data and research; influence, commitment, dedication, and sense of judgment; courage and determination to challenge underperformance; resilience and persuasive skill to be optimistic, energetic, to remain calm in a crisis. My vision is to be an educational leader that develops, enlightens, and influences others to positively transform learners’ academic character and potential through their curiosity and passion for education, innovation, and leadership. I have enormous drive and ambitions and believe in high standards and aspirations for myself and those that I work with.

I believe in the development of effective working relationships and a culture that encourages continuous improvement for colleagues and reports. My working style is based on collaboration and the development of confidence and self-esteem in others and my passion for continuous learning drives me to help others to achieve high performance through the transfer of my skills.

I am currently a Vice Principal Academic at Atlantic Hall (a full boarding secondary school), where I supervise a diverse group of teaching and support staff (about 72) as well as approximately 530 students. I lead and manage 12 heads of departments and 6 heads of year. I take the lead in the operational and strategic aspects relating to the development, execution, quality assurance and evaluation of teaching and learning activities and other wider academic matters.
