Founding Partner, Future Africa, Cofounder Andela & Flutterwave

Cofounder Andela & Flutterwave, currently CEO and General Partner of this innovation fund, which has invested in over 100 companies across the continent, collectively worth over $6 billion, in sectors such as fintech, edtech, healthtech, and agritech. Some of my notable investments include Moove, a flexible car ownership platform that empowers Uber drivers in Nigeria, and Itana, a network of charter cities for African technology talent.

My passion for social justice and international development stems from my education background in Legal Studies and International Studies from the University of Waterloo – St. Jerome’s University. There, I learned how to apply critical thinking, strategic communication, and legal frameworks to address complex global issues. Before launching Future Africa, I co-founded two of Africa’s most valuable startups, Flutterwave and Andela, which are transforming the global payments and engineering ecosystems respectively. My goal is to build an African future where prosperity and purpose is within everyone’s reach. I have been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader for my contributions to the African innovation and investment landscape.
