Dapo Pelmar

Bagging a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University while he stumbled on music, Dapo ZACCHAEUS is an immensely Gifted Singer, Songwriter, Music Director/Arranger and a performing/recording artiste popularly known as Dapo Pelmar. He started singing professionally in 2015.

He is a voice major certified by Vocal Plus Academy and has a music psychology diploma from Alisson School of Music.

He has served in/with various organizations, Bands and Artistes as a Background Vocalist, Vocal Arranger, Music Director and Voice Coach and is currently a vocal coach/trainer working with a handful of churches in Lagos and with seasoned singers globally.

His wealth spans both within and beyond the shores of Africa with a handful of artistes including Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, Tim Godfrey, Burna Boy, Davido, Sammie Okposo, Kizz Daniel, Pita, Waje, Pato-Ranking, Darey Art Alade, Nosa, Ty Bello, Falz, Onos Ariyo, Jekalyn Carr and more…

He released his debut single on the 30th of October,2021 titled ‘The Anthem’ .. following this release was another soulful song titled “Superhero”, a song for mothers.

Dapo was a runner-up at TREM’s Project nu Wine in 2015, more recently, he emerged as a finalist on The Voice Nigeria season three in 2021 with recognition for his unmatched vocal prowess and skills.
