It generates statistical data useful for tracking learning outcomes, patterns to improve decision-making for educators and parents with the purpose of identifying students with the tendency of lacking behind. We organized Edves Catalyst to work with the Schools on how to achieve more results and deliver sustainable quality Education leveraging on technology and Science of Learning.

Prof. Ndubuisi Ekekwe

Founder of African Institution of Technology

Dr. Ndubuisi Ekekwe is the Founder of African Institution of Technology, a 501(c)3 U.S. charity. He holds two doctoral and four master’s degrees including a Ph.D. in electrical & computer engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, USA, and MBA from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He obtained BEng from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (Nigeria) where he graduated as his class’s best student.

A US semiconductor industry veteran, his working experiences include Diamond Bank, Analog Devices Corp, and NNPC. In Analog Devices, he worked in the team that designed a generation accelerometer for the iPhone, and he created the company’s first wafer level chip scale package for the inertial sensors. Dr. Ekekwe is a selection board member of the $100 Million Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program. He has written many books, authored many technical papers, and invented technologies. The African Leadership Network has honored him as a “New Generation Leader for Africa”.

Yinka Ogunde has an interesting professional life that cuts between the Marketing Communication Industry and the Education Sector. She began her professional life in the Advertising sector as a Copywriter at Promoserve before moving to the Client service Department. She moved into the world of Entrepreneurship in 1999 by setting up Goals and Ideas, a fully registered Advertising Agency that worked on various Multinational Accounts. She eventually ventured into the Education Industry bringing in her vast experience in the world of Marketing Communications to support Educational Institutions. She serves on various Boards and NGOs across the Country.

 

A well sought and engaging speaker on Leadership, Marketing, and Education related issues. Yinka’s outfit Edumark is a leading provider of Marketing Communication services to top institutions in various parts of Nigeria. Yinka is also a certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer with the John Maxwell Team.

Bill has also authored a best-selling book – Further, Faster – The Vital Few Steps that Take the Guesswork out of Growth.  Away from work, he is an avid reader and athlete, and enjoys volunteering locally. When he is not off cheering on his collegiate-champion daughter, Bill lives in Sudbury, Massachusetts, with his wife, dog, cat, and four chickens.

Mrs. Abolaji Osime is the CEO, Global International College and Secondary School She is a lawyer with a Master’s degree in Law from the London School of Economics, University of London, She is the CEO of Global International College, Nigeria’s Foremost Secondary & Sixth Form College. She has run and managed GIC in the last 14 years. Her students on successful completion of their course are guaranteed entry into a U.K, Canadian, US, and Hungarian Universities.

She consulted for the Federal Ministry of Education, where she led the transformation task team for Education Economy and Competitiveness. She also led other ‘initiatives such as the Innovation and Vocational Enterprise Institutions and the establishment of city-wide Career Centres. She was also the Lagos State Team Leader for ESSPIN (Education Sector Support Programme in Nigeria).

RonkePosh is the Founder of the Helps at Homes Initiative which focuses on Parenting in the 21st Century and the proper recruitment of domestic workers in homes in order to prevent risks to families.

Dr. Trisha Callella works with Digital Promise Global at the intersection of education, technology, and learning sciences research. She was a teacher, instructional coach, Director of Educational Technology, and Director of Innovation for K-12 school districts in the United States sharing her passion for globally connected learning. Trisha is the published author of over 50 teacher resource books where she turned research into actionable practices emphasizing innovative pedagogical approaches and activities. As an international speaker, she has presented on topics ranging from literacy to STEM and entrepreneurship. With a passion for technology, she has worked with many startups as an advisor, consultant, and pedagogical designer. She received her doctorate from USC in Educational Psychology: Learning Sciences, co-created and leads the Cotsen Principals Tech Network, and is on the faculty of Western Governors University working with teachers earning their Masters degrees. With Digital Promise Global, she is focused on helping educators and edtech companies design learning experiences to best support the full diversity of learners through the Learner Variability Project.
